Eternity

Time has not taken me from you.

I have you with me.

I’ll give anything to see you,

And you see me. 

To realize that I still love you,

And know you’re everything to me.

Yet, here I am, without you,

And you moving on without me.

My thoughts belong to you,

Yet your mind has no room for me.

My heart beats for you,

And you have no place in yours for me.

How can I spend eternity so attached to you?

While it’s been an eternity since you last yearned for me?
